69 GTO Convertible Work Continues

As you can see (from previous posts) that the work continues. The engine and transmission is back in, the top frame is on, and the windows are installed and adjusted.

The carburator that came on the car was a cobbled up mess, and incorrect. I think we've found a correct dated coded carb.

The hydraulic lines have been run for the convertible top, power windows and door locks. Stan had to hand build some mounting brackets. He's great at stuff like that.

I'm still waiting for the dash to come back from Washington, and just shipped the steering wheel off to Ohio for refurbishing. We're still looking for some other under dash components (ducts, speakers, 8-track wiring harness, etc.). Gotta be able to listen to those golden oldies while driving down the street.

  1. Looks like it is making progress! When is it supposed to be done?? Will it be done for the convention in July?
